PRIVACY & DATA
Your information and this website
This page explains what happens when you visit the public website, request an appointment, sign in to the patient portal, or upload medical records. It describes the current site features and is not a statement of GDPR, HIPAA, or other legal certification.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Public website and appointment enquiries
The appointment enquiry form runs in your browser. The website does not submit or store its fields on a website database. After you complete the form, it prepares a WhatsApp message for you to review. You decide whether to open WhatsApp and press Send. If you send it, the information is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy and is delivered to the clinic account.
Please do not put scan images, reports, passwords, national identification numbers, or other sensitive medical details in WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp is a third-party messaging service and is not the website’s medical-record portal.
2. Patient portal and uploaded records
If you register or sign in, the portal processes account details, appointment information, and files you choose to upload. The current site uses Supabase authentication and private cloud storage for the portal. Access is limited by account sign-in and the site’s access controls to the patient account and the authorized doctor account. Do not share your password, and sign out on shared devices.
Upload only records that belong to you or that you are authorized to share. Supported files and size limits appear on the medical records page. Uploaded records can be deleted from the records page when signed in. For help with an account or a deletion request, email dr.arifnsbsmmu@gmail.com. Appointment records may require a separate request. Cloud backups or operational records may take additional time to expire; no fixed retention period is promised here.
3. Providers and external links
The public site is delivered by its website hosting provider. The patient portal and file storage use Supabase. The public pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Appointment messages, if you choose to send one, use WhatsApp. These services may process technical information needed to provide their services under their own terms. Links to BM&DC, Google Maps, Facebook, and other third-party sites are governed by those sites’ policies.
4. Security and contact
The portal requires sign-in and uses access controls for patient records. Use the HTTPS versions of the site, keep your password private, and avoid downloading records to shared devices. No website or online transfer can be described as risk-free. If you believe your account or records have been exposed, contact the clinic at dr.arifnsbsmmu@gmail.com.
5. Your choices
You can choose not to use the online form or portal and contact the clinic by phone. You may request access, correction, or deletion help by email. The site does not promise a particular response time, and some account or service records may need to remain available for operational or legal reasons.
6. Medical and emergency limits
This website is informational. It does not provide diagnosis, urgent care, or a confirmed appointment. Do not use the website or WhatsApp to seek emergency help; call 999 in Bangladesh or go to an emergency department.
